Mount Zion identifies nine basic Christian doctrines as Bedrock Beliefs. We ask everyone who becomes a member to embrace these biblical teachings. They represent the foundational understandings of the Christian faith. This series of nine messages considers each belief in turn and how it impacts our daily lives.

WINTER/SPRING CONNECT GROUPS • It's Not Too Late to Join!

What are Connect Groups? A Connect Group is usually 8-12 people who come together with similar interests. A variety of interest-based groups for children, youth, and adults are offered. Why Connect Groups? Smaller is better. How often do you hear that? Jesus spoke often on the value of friendship and community. Even as God in the flesh, Christ needed companions. We do as well. ASH WEDNESDAY • 3/5 • Noon & 7:00 PM • Chapel

Ash Wednesday services will be offered at Noon and 7:00 PM. The services will be held in the Chapel, lasting approximately 30 minutes, and will include the imposition of ashes and time for personal reflection. Following the Noon service, a light lunch will be provided.

$12 Adult • $5 Ages 4 to 10 • 3 years old & under are free

Enjoy mouth-watering country cooking, including fried chicken, barbeque, country ham, chicken and pastry, hot dogs, fat back, streak-o-lean, and even chitterlings. Feast on a variety of tasty home-cooked vegetables, including collards, potatoes, candied yams, green beans, and more. Topping it all off with your choice at our dessert table: a delectable display of sweet cakes, melt-in-your-mouth pies, and that Southern staple—banana pudding. Volunteer info is available in the Connect Weekly. All net proceeds go to Hurricane Relief for Western North Carolina.

Toddler, Preschool, K-5th Grade • Wednesdays • 6:30-7:30 PM

A weekly program where children engage in interactive lessons that involve games, science, cooking, crafts and more, that are designed to match Mount Zion's Mission and Vision to call children Upward, Onward, and Outward in their walk with our Lord.

6th-12th Grade • Wednesdays • 6:30-8 PM 

Throughout the year, Elevate Youth holds weekly ministry on Wednesday nights, plus weekend retreats, service opportunities, fellowship nights, and a summer discipleship camp.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
